Material and Performance

Common materials:

Carbon steel (such as Q235A and Q345B): Offers high cost performance and is suitable for ordinary environments (such as factory building supports and indoor pipelines).
Alloy steel: higher strength, suitable for heavy-load applications.
Stainless steel (such as 201, 304, 316): Highly corrosion‑resistant and suitable for humid or coastal environments (e.g., seaside projects and chemical industrial parks).

Surface Treatment:

Installation and Usage Precautions

Pre‑installation inspection: Check bolts for damage, deformation, or other defects. Clean the mounting surface to ensure it is free of oil, rust, and debris.
Drilling or Pre‑drilling Holes: When installing on concrete or masonry, it is necessary to pre‑drill holes of the appropriate size. When installing on metal structures, it may be necessary to weld or otherwise prepare mounting holes in advance.
Placement and Fixing: Insert the U‑bolt into the pre‑drilled hole, ensuring it is positioned correctly and perpendicular to the mounting surface. Partially tighten one end’s nut, but do not fully tighten it yet, so that you can adjust the position as needed.
Insert the object to be secured: Place the object to be fixed (such as a pipe or bracket) into the bend of the U‑bolt, ensuring it is positioned correctly.
Final tightening: Tighten the nuts at both ends evenly, ensuring that the tightening torque on each side is consistent to prevent uneven stress that could lead to bolt deformation or fracture.
Safety Check: After installation is complete, inspect all connection points to ensure they are secure and free of looseness.
Regular Maintenance: U‑bolts that are used long term should be inspected regularly, and lubricated or replaced as needed.
